From Classroom to Career: Engaging Students with eDynamic Knowledge Matters Simulations and Virtual Internships
Knowledge Matters, an eDynamic Learning company, is the leader in virtual experiential learning for high schoolers. These visual simulations compress years of experience into hours and days, appealing to students and teachers as a more effective tool in achieving useful skill development. Today's students need more than textbook knowledge, they need real-world experiences that build career confidence before they ever step into a workplace. Knowledge Matters simulations and Virtual Internships deliver exactly that: immersive, scenario-based learning environments that place students in authentic career situations across high-demand industries.
DECA partners with Knowledge Matters to utilize these simulations in a variety of ways, including virtual challenges and competitions.

Pre-apprenticeship
Monday August 3, 2026 2:15pm - 3:00pm EDT
Apprenticeship Works’ pre-apprenticeships programs help to diversify and expand the
manufacturing workforce. Through these programs, participants prepare for new careers in manufacturing by learning basic foundational skills applicable to registered apprenticeship programs around the country.

Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center partners with the West Virginia Department of Education to provide pre-apprenticeships to high school students enrolled in career and technical education programs.

Students earn credit toward full U.S. Department of Labor registered apprenticeships at participating manufacturing companies across the Mountain State, enabling them to achieve DOL journey worker certifications faster and creating a steady pipeline of talent in high-demand occupations for state companies.
