About me
Donn Kirkwood is a Senior School Improvement Leadership Coach with the Southern Regional Education Board, where he works with states, districts, and career and technical education centers to strengthen instructional quality and improve student outcomes. Through SREB’s Technology Centers That Work initiative, he partners with CTE leaders to build high-quality programs aligned to workforce needs and continuous improvement practices. His work focuses on instructional rounds, authentic learning, and integrating literacy and problem-solving into career pathways. Donn is a former middle school educator, published curriculum writer for Learned Notebooks, and was recognized as North Carolina’s Outstanding Educator in Science, Math and Technology.
